Effective Date: 2026-07-17 · Documented prevention protocols

Social Central prohibits illegal and harmful activity under our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). This page documents the protocols we use to identify and prevent prohibited activities, including human / sex trafficking, illegal acts, impersonation, and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Related detection controls are also summarized at Trust & Safety Controls. PDF: Download PDF.

1. Overall Protocol Framework

  1. Rules — Clear public bans in the AUP and Terms for each prohibited category.
  2. Prevent — Product rules that reduce risk up front (hard 18+ age requirement, face-required profiles, bans on AI / synthetic media, nudity, child photos, solicitation, ban evasion).
  3. Detect — User Report / Block / Not for Me tools; support queues; automated ban when five unique users report the same account within five days.
  4. Enforce — Content removal, warnings, suspension, permanent ban, retention of banned-account records, and referral to law enforcement / NCMEC where appropriate.
