This Privacy Policy explains how Social Central (“Social Central”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and retains
information when you use our mobile applications, websites, and related services (the “Service”).
1. What we collect
We collect information in the following categories:
1.1 Information you provide
- Account information: email address, account identifiers, and authentication information (such as a password hash).
- Profile information: details you choose to add to your profile (for example: name, age, gender, city, and other profile fields).
- User content: content you create or upload through the Service, such as messages, tags, comments, photos, and other media you post.
- Support requests: information you include when contacting us through in-app support.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and log information: IP address, device identifiers, timestamps, and diagnostic/log data generated when you access the Service.
- Push notification identifiers: iOS device tokens used to deliver notifications (if you enable notifications).
- Usage information: information about how you use the Service (for example, interactions with content, features used, and in-app actions).
1.3 Payments and subscriptions
- Subscription status: when you purchase an auto-renewable subscription through Apple’s in-app purchase system, we may store information needed to validate and maintain your subscription status (for example, transaction-related identifiers and entitlement status).
- Third-party payment processors: if the Service supports payments outside the App Store on certain platforms, payment information is handled by the payment provider. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
1.4 Advertising and tracking (where applicable)
- Advertising data: the Service may display ads using third-party advertising partners (for example, Google AdMob). These partners may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads.
- App Tracking Transparency: on iOS, tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies requires your permission. You can grant or revoke tracking permission in iOS Settings.
1.5 Facebook integration (web experience)
Social Central includes a legacy web experience that may integrate with Facebook. If you use Social Central through Facebook,
we may receive and use Facebook-provided information such as your Facebook user ID, name, and profile picture, consistent with your Facebook settings and permissions.
2. How we use information
We use information for the following purposes:
- Provide and operate the Service: create and manage accounts, authenticate users, deliver features (tags, messaging, photos, comments), and maintain core functionality.
- Personalization and discovery: present user lists and search results based on profile fields and preferences you provide.
- Safety and integrity: detect abuse, spam, fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Notifications: deliver push notifications and in-app alerts (if you enable them).
- Support: respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
- Advertising: show and measure advertisements for non-subscribers, where applicable.
3. How information is shared
3.1 With other users
- Profile and public activity: your profile information, photos you post, and comments may be visible to other users of the Service.
- Private interactions: messages and tags are shared with the participants in that conversation or interaction and stored on our servers to provide the Service.
3.2 With service providers and partners
We use third-party service providers to operate the Service (for example, hosting, content delivery, cloud storage for media, push notification delivery, and advertising).
We require these providers to handle information in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
3.3 For legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect users, or prevent fraud and abuse.
4. Data retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize account data and associated content where feasible. Some information (for example, security logs and backups)
may be retained for a limited period as part of routine operations and safety controls.
4.1 Deleting your account
- In-app deletion: in the Social Central app, go to
More → Settings → Delete Account, then follow the prompts to permanently delete your account and associated data.
- Help: if you cannot access the app, contact us using the information in Section 8.
5. Your choices and controls
- Profile controls: you can update many profile details directly in the app.
- Blocking and reporting: you can block users and report abuse within the Service.
- Push notifications: you can enable or disable notifications in iOS Settings.
- Tracking permission (iOS): you can grant or revoke tracking permission in

6. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is 100% secure, and you use the Service at your own risk.
7. Children’s privacy
Social Central is not intended for children. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child, we will take steps to delete it.
